- Description
- Removal and replacement of two existing timber bridges. Both bridges shall be replaced with precast, prestressed concrete voided slab superstructures. The work includes cast-in-place concrete bridge seats doweled into the existing stone masonry wall abutments. The new bridges shall have galvanized tube steel railings and galvanized flex beam approach guardrails. The approaches require the removal of the existing asphalt surface, scarifying, grading, and recompacting the native material prior to placing the new asphalt overlay and the asphalt deck surface.
