- Description
- The purpose and intent of this contract is to secure services for pre-commercial thinning, pruning, and slash control in seven treatment blocks across 332 acres of conifer reproduction, approximately 20-30 years old. The contract time for this project is 120 calendar days. All items in this contract will be part of a Young-Growth Adaptive Management study. The one item consists of seven sub-items in the Cave Creek drainage near the south end of 12-Mile Arm on the east side of Prince of Wales Island. The contract area is approximately 12 air miles southwest of Hollis Alaska. This item can be accessed by road from the Hollis Inter-Island Ferry Terminal. The NAICS code is 115310 and the small business size standard is average annual income of $6 million over the past three years. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps for viewing and printing on or about May 1, 2002. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation via the Internet if at all possible.
