Description

The USDA Agriculture Research Service (ARS) requires all labor, supervision, tools, and materials be provided to alter existing library space to a tissue culture work space at the Appalachian Fruit Research Station, Kearneysville WV. Base bid work includes demolition, carpentry, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical to alter a 650 sqft (+/-) space including flooring, acoustic ceiling, sealing existing windows, dry walling, adding an air handling unit with stand alone controls, exhaust fan and steam generator; associated ductwork modifications and additions; associated electrical including two panel boards, a dry type transformer, 540- lf (+/-) of new sub feeder; piping, and roofing modifications. Bid Option 1 provides for the addition of an electrical panel board. Bid Option 2 provides for tying the HVAC controls into the existing Building Automation System. The ECC is between $100,000 and $250,000. The project must be completed within 90 days after receipt of notice to proceed.
