Description
This is the request for information of commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only be issued as a Request For Information. The North American Industrial Classification System code is 333912 and the business size standard is NTE 5.0 million. The agency need is for: Item 0001: Qty: one SET. The Breathing Air Center EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS: The high pressure breathing air system shall be a complete appliance designed to refill SCBA and SCUBA cylinders. It must include the high-pressure air compressor, air purifier; fill station and all operating and cylinder fill controls. The system must also be designed to incorporate an integral air storage system. All components shall be completely assembled and tested by the manufacturer. Government?s minimum requirements: BREATHING AIR CENTER, (BAC), IS REQUIRED TO FILL MSA 60 MINUTE, 4,500 PSI AIR BOTTLES WITH GRADE "D" AIR. COMPRESSOR MUST BE AT LEAST 20HP AND CAPABLE OF 5,000PSI OUTPUT WITH SELF-RELIEVING PRESSURE REGULATORS. INCLUDED IN THE BAC MUST BE TWO(2) ASME OR DOT STORAGE CYLINDERS. BAC MUST ALSO INCLUDE A CO2 INDICATOR AND HIGH OIL PRESSURE INDICATOR. Electric Motor: The compressor shall be the electrical conditions as 60 Hertz Current 3 Phase, 230 volts Electrical Control System: The breathing air compressor shall include all the necessary controls to assure efficient and safe operation and monitor performance. AirMonitor including CO and H2O electronic detectors with pre-set warning and shutdown limits.Digital AirMonitor ( CO and H2O) panel with actual content display in PPM and prompter software keypad for CO monitor calibration. A fl ow panel with factory plumbed calibration gases shall be included.
