- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-02-Q-0135 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06 as well as DCN 20020314. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334220 and the business size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 ? 1 EA, P/N 2962700-1, S/N QLC00005 TRANSMITTER & CLIN 0002 ? 1 EA, P/N 2962800-1, S/N QLC00005, LABOR AND MATERIALS FOR TEST, TEARDOWN EVALUATION TO R EPAIR TO OEM FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS. This requirement is sole sourced to Raytheon Company, McKinney TX. The Government does not possess complete specifications/drawings to allow for adequate competition. Raytheon is the original equipment manufacturer and is in possession of all required specifications/drawings. This equipment must integrate with the existing system in terms of form, fit, function, and compatibility. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination within 120 days after award. Final inspection will be at NSWC Crane IN. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Si mplified Acquisition Procedures. NOTE: Provisions with a ?Fill-in? MUST be filled out completely and submitted with the offer.
