Description

SUBJECT: CONSTRUCT A NEW ROOM ON EAST SIDE OF BUILDING NUMBER 1550, NAVAL AIR STATION, JOINT RESERVE BASE, FORT WORTH, TX DESC: This is a REQUEST FOR QUOTES under SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES (SAP) (under $100,000). Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. PLAN HOLDERS LISTS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED. The proposed requirement is UNRESTRICTED. The SIC is 1542 (General Contractors-Nonresidential Buildings); the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 233320 - $28.5 Million. The performance period is 120 calendar days. The work involves: site work, foundation, floor, ceiling, roof system, painting, HVAC, electrical, and termite treatment. The solicitation package with specifications and nine sketches, will be available on or about April 30, 2002 and will be listed under N62467-02-Q-8816 at the web site; http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE PACKAGE WILL BE ACCEPTED. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend the site visit scheduled for Tuesday, May 7, 2002 at 10:30 AM Texas time. Parties will meet at Building 1215 (ROICC), Naval Air Station, Joint Reserve Base, Fort Worth, Texas fifteen minutes before 10:30 AM. To be able to enter the base, the following must be faxed to 817-782-7680 (attn: Martin Hunter or Marvelyn Walker) not later than May 3, 2002: Firm?s name, firm?s address, name and social security number of each person requesting entry, WITH A POINT OF CONTACT (NAME AND TELEPHONE) in case of an emergency; purpose of visit (site visit for Building 1550) and date & time of site visit. All persons must have a valid photo identification (drivers license) in possession. Must show proof of current insurance and registration for vehicle being driven. Contractors MUST be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. See Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR 28.102-2c for payment protection requirements. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be posted solely on the website.
