Description

The work includes providing all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform the work specified herein. This is a construction requirement for a firm fixed price contract. The Contractor shall remove existing bird deterrents that are in place, power wash and remove all bird droppings, debris, nesting materials, etc, and install bird netting (?? x ?? size) (or a size agreed upon by the Contracting Officer) mesh to all overhead/side areas as applicable so that birds cannot enter inside of the netted area. The netted area shall exclude all birds from nesting, loafing, and landing. The program is 100% SMAL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE, and the NAICS CODE is 234930. The size standard is 11.5 million. The estimated range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A payment bond is required for this proposal. The proposal will be issued on April 12, 2002 and the quote is due on May 3, 2002 at 4pm, in the ROICC OFFICE, Bldg 1, Simonpietri Drive, Newport, RI 02841. INSTRUCTIONS: ALL Prospective Contractors must register in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award. The Central Contractor Registration is www.ccr.gov. Bidders are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database may render your firm ineligible for award. Proposals are available at ESOL:www.esol.navfac.navy.mil.
