Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA 93042-5049 is re-soliciting proposals on a full and open competitive basis from qualified organizations for the purpose of informing, instructing and training Department of the Navy personnel in the installation, operation and maintenance of Common Automatic Test Equipment (CATE) Program, which includes the AN/ASM-608 Inertial Measurement Unit Test Station including all associated Test Programs Sets (TPS's), Adapter Groups, Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRA's) and Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRA's). This effort was previously synopsized under solicitation N68936-01-R-0032, and solicitation N68936-01-R-0104, however; an acceptable offer was not received. There is no change in this requirement. This effort may be at a single or multiple location. The period of performance will be from award to 30 September 2002, Option Year One from 1 October 2002 through 30 September 2003, Option Year Two from 1 October 2003 though 30 September 2004, Option Year Three from 1 October 2004 through 30 September 2005, Option Year Four from 1 October 2005 through 30 September 2006 and Option Year Five from 1 October 2006 through 30 June 2007. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, cost or price and other factors specified elsewhere in the solicitation, considered. This solicitation is being issued unrestricted and is being classified under NAICS Code 541330 (SIC 8711) ($23.0M). Phone and fax request for solicitation will not be accepted. The solicitation will be made available on the Internet using Microsoft Word 97 format and will reside on the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, 2.0 Contracts Competency homepage : https://contracts.nawcwd.navy.mil/rfp-nawc.htm on or about 26 April 2002. It is the offeror's responsibility to check this website for any amendments that may be issued to the solicitation and acknowledge them as a part of any proposal submission. All requests shall provide the name of your company, point of contact and complete mailing address. Requests without the above information will not be accepted.
