- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to negotiate a noncompetitive contract with Data One for the installation and delivery of a Panduit CommScope cable system. A determination not to compete this proposed contract has been made Pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253?(a), as implemented by 6.302-1,(b)(l)(I), this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within its discretion. Data One is the only authorized Panduit installer that can match and warrant the existing cable system. This is not a Request for Quotation nor a solicitation of offers. The Government shall award a contract to Data One by April 22, 2002.
