- Description
- USAFE Contracting Squadron intends to issue a solicitation for services in which the contractor shall plan, organize, and operate an efficient and economical central publishing (publications and forms) distribution activity. The publishing distribution system works on the principle of demand. Customers determine their needs and await receipt of the requested material. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, and other items or services necessary for management and operation of the Theater Distribution Center-Europe (TDC-E) at Building 404, Ramstein AB, Germany. Services include but are not limited to managing a service desk, all work pertaining to receipt, storage, issue, and accounting for physical information products. The government also reserves the right to add a technical helpdesk at a future date. The contractor shall perform these services using current government-owned and furnished software and in accordance with Air Force instructions. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is proposed with a phase in period, basic period, and 4 12-month option periods. Employee logistic support and benefits will not be provided. This is for planning purposes only and does not commit the government to pay for the information requested nor issue a solicitation, or award a contract. Draft Performance Work Statement is posted on FBO for review and comments. Interested firms are requested to provide experience in the form of an outline of previous projects for specific relevant work completed or currently being performed of equivalent magnitude including contract numbers, description of the work, points of contact, and phone numbers; professional qualifications and specific experience of personnel identified to perform the work; and any other pertinent information which would enable the government to assess a firm?s capabilities.
