- Solicitation/Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F48608-02-Q0010, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. The Standard Industrial Classification Number is 3799 and the Business Size Standard is 500. The proposed contract listed here is Set Aside: 100% for Small Business. NON-PERSONAL SERVICES: The contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, tools, materials, and transportation to supply four each Slide In Campers. They must meet the following description and be equipped with the following standard items: Full fiberglass shower stall, extended cab, Atwood jacks (brackets only), 18,000 BTU forced-air furnace, 4-cubic foot Norcold gas/electric refrigerator, 3-gallon hot water heater, 3-burner stove, 20-amp power converter with charger, on-board battery system, CO detector, Gas detector, skylight in bathroom, range hood with light and fan, outside shower, city water, grey water, enclosed black tank, ladder, sliding table, GFI ground fault interrupter, porch light, front rubber bed bumpers, wired for stereo, wired for 7000 BTU air. Additionally, it must meet the following criteria: Twin beds to be installed, exterior 110- volt plug to be marine twist lock style to match existing motor pool extension plugs, exterior camper to truck plug wired to match existing motor pool trucks, roof air conditioner, upgrade to foam core insulation in side walls, upgrade to astro foil insulation in roof, external storage area 14H x 29W x 18D for carrying a 4kw generator, dry/wet weight 1680/1920, width 90 inches, height (inside/outside) 78/81 inches, fresh water 30 gallon, floor length 102 inches, overall length 190 inches, and black and grey water capacity of 11 gallons each, and complete installation. These campers will be installed on either 1998 or 1999 Chevrolet 3500 Long Bed Trucks. Manufacture: Northlands Model Koala 850 or Equal. Warranty required. There are four each slide-in campers for trade-in, two each Cascade Campers and two each Shadow Cruisers, that need complete removal from the trucks they are on. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition in accordance with the specifications. The provisions at 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with the blanks filled in as follows: Summary of Services Proposed: Request for Quotation will be evaluated for price and compatibility with specifications. Quotes shall include pricing information to include unit price and extended total as well as the completed provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. No addenda apply. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items ? applies to this acquisition. Additional FAR 52.212-5 clauses cited in the clause applicable to this acquisition are (b) 12 ? 15, 21, 24, and 26 and (c) 1 ? 2. The following clauses are also applicable to this acquisition: 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside, and DFARS 252.212-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Program (41 U.S.C. 10, E.O. 10502)(Over $10,000); 252.225-7036, Buy American Act ? North American Free Trade Agreement ? Balance of Payments Program (Over $50,000), and 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration. Quotes will be received at 90 CONS/LGCB, 7505 Marne Loop, F. E. Warren AFB, WY 82005-2860 until 4:00 PM local time on 26 Apr 02.
