Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, this synopsis shall serve as a request for quote (RFQ) numbered F41621-02-T-0002. The Air Intelligence Agency (AIA) wishes to acquire the items indicated herein on an ALL OR NONE basis. NO SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED. BRAND NAME REQUIRED. Information on the software is available from Citrix Systems at 6363 NW 6th Way, or Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309 (http://www.citrix.com). CLINS 0001 thru 0003 covers 180 seats of Citrix MetaFrame Xpe for one or more servers in a farm. CLINS 0004 thru 0006 cover installation support. All items are to be delivered and installed at 92 IWS/CIP, 402 Greig, Bldg 179, San Antonio TX 78243. Delivery is required no later than 31 May 02. Offerors are required to provide the unit and extended prices for the following items. 0001, Server starter kit with 20 concurrent connections, including one year of Subscription Advantage software update service. This includes application packaging and delivery, network management, system monitoring and analysis, advanced load management, Citrix Management Console, centralized printer management, centralized license management, active directory support, advanced session shadowing, client time zone support, Citrix Nfuse 1.5 and 128 bit encryption (P/N: EW22XPE0020, QTY: 1 EA) 0002, Adds 50 concurrent connections to server or farm, including one year of Subscription Advantage updates (P/N: EW24CLE0050, 3 EA). 0003, Adds 10 concurrent connections to server or farm, including one year of Subscription Advantage updates (P/N: EW24CLE0050, 1 EA). 0004, Installation and tuning services: To install Terminal Services/MetaFrame on four servers with load balancing. Five days on site by Citrix-certified System Consultant for installation and tuning of server software; assistance in installation of customer applications, assistance in creation and installation of clients, instructions in use of Nfuse for application publishing. Includes hands on training for customer system administrator personnel (P/N: MS 100-4, 1 LOT. 0005, Premium Telephone Support (annual renewable agreement); First server in a site (P/N: MS 150, 1 EA). 0006, Premium Telephone Support (annual renewable agreement); Additional servers in same site (P/N: MS 156, 2 EA). 0007, Windows 2000 Standard Server, Open License Program (Business Level, "NL"), license only (P/N: C11-00821,1 EA). 0008, Microsoft Terminal Services Client Access License for Windows 2000 downgradeable to Windows NT 4 TSE. Microsoft published price, Open License (Business Level, "NL") (P/N: C79-00539, 180 EA). This requirement is NOT set-aside for small business. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 421430, 100 employees. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2001-06 (effective 04 Apr 2002). The following provisions/clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items.
