- MIDAS REX III COMPLETE SET-UP RFQ 546-97-02 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Solicitation RFQ 546-97-02 is issued as a request for quote and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-6. The NAICS Code is 334119. This is an unrestricted procurement. Contractor shall provide the following equipment to the Deparmtent of veterans Affairs Medical Center , 1201 N.W. 16th Street, Miami, Florida , FOB Destination within 30 days after award Replacement equipment: The equipment shall have the following salient characteristics. The Maxi Rex III or equal is an ergonomic, lightweight motor design featuring small, overall diameter, for comfort and ease of handling. Variable speed with suggested operating pressure of 100 psi (7 bar0 with pressure flexibility of 20-150 psi (2-10 bar) for special procedures. Specifically engineered for reduced sound level, quick response features for installation and/or replacements of GS dissecting tools and tubes with flexible hose. Contractor will supply all parts, labor, material and training. Contractor is required to provide operation/service (maintenance) manuals with each piece of equipment, one year warranty. Equipment must be FDA approved. The provision at 852.211-70, Service Data Manuals, 852-211-75, Technical Industry Standards (APR 1984), 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial items; 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial items, para (a) is filled in as follows: VAMC MIAMI will award a contract resulting from this solicitation that will be most advantageous to the Government, price, and other factors considered. The following factors, listed in descending order of importance, shall be used to evaluate offers: (a) lowest price quotation for all items, (b) earliest delivery schedule proposed.
