- Description
- Notice of intent to award a sole source extension of six (6) months to Alexandria Packaging & Supply, 7398 Ward Park Lane, Springfield. Va, for packing and crating services to support shipments of building materials, communications and surveillance equipment and security sensitive items to diplomatic posts throughout the world under authority of FAR 6.302. The Department of State has a need for the contractor to provide uninterrupted services that are vital to ensure compliance with federally mandated safety standards. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by contacting ClarkCP@state.gov. The Department of State will consider all proposals received within 14 days after the date of publication of this synopsis. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Department of State NOT to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Department of State.
