Description
This acquisition is a 51% Buy Indian set-aside in accordance with 25 U.S.C. 47. The Government anticipates negotiating a 51% Buy Indian sole-source acquisition with the Shoshone-Bannock Indian Tribe in accordance with 25 U.S.C. 47, and the current tribal government resolution. Work to be performed includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to construct approximately: 1020/LM of Open Trench Road Cut; 380/LM of Driveway Cut; 800/LM of Asphalt Resurfacing; 10,000/LM of new 300mm water main and appurtenances; 852/LM of new 300mm water main and appurtenances-Highway 91; 1/EA. Water Main Interconn.; 35/EA. Gate Valves, 300mm; 27/EA. Fire Hydrant Assemblies; 92/LM of Boring-450mm Steel Casing; 45/LM of Directional Drill, 300mm; PE Creek Crossing?25mm PE Water Service Line, 1900/LM; 160/LM of Road Boring, 25mm PE Water Service Line; 37/EA. 25mm Corporation Stop and Saddle (300mm Main); 3/EA. 25mm Corporation Stop and Saddle (150mm Main); 40/EA. 18mm X 20mm Water Meter Assembly; 450/LM of Abandonment Grouting. This project will require borings under Highway 91, a railroad and a major canal and all necessary appurtenances for a complete and opperational system. The work to be performed will be located on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation, Fort Hall, Bingham County, Idaho. The period of performance is 160 calendar days from the notice to proceed date. The estimated range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The anticipated contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. BUY AMERICAN ACT APPLIES. Indian preference in hiring, suppliers and subcontractors is required, including meeting Shoshone-Bannock Tribal Employment Ordinances.
