- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ); the Solicitation Number is SB1341-02-Q-0397. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Number 2001-06. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 511210; the small business size standard is $21.0 million. The Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN?s) and associated descriptions, quantities, and units of measure are as follows: CLIN 0001: DESCRIPTION: VeriSign On-Site Global Server ID?s: 128-bit SSL ID?s (License Renewal for the period of March 6, 2002 through March 5, 2003); QUANTITY: 15; UNIT OF ISSUE: Each. CLIN 0002: DESCRIPTION: VeriSign Administrative Kit; QUANTITY: 4; UNIT OF ISSUE: Each. Quoted prices for CLIN?s 0001 and 0002 must be F.o.b. Destination. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition; Offerors MUST follow the instructions in this provision in submitting their offer. That provision, and all other FAR Part 52 provisions, may be accessed at http://www.arnet.gov/far in either html or .pdf format under Part 52. Award will be made to the Offeror whose quotation has both been determined to be technically acceptable and to represent the lowest price of all quotations received by the Government. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial items, with their offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition; the clauses cited within that clause under section (b) that apply to this acquisition include: 52.52.222.21; 52.222-26; 52.222-35; 52.222-36; 52.222-37; 52.222-19; 52.225-15; and 52.232-34. The Offeror must submit a copy of its licensing agreement that applies to CLIN's 0001 through 0002 with its offer.
