- All bid requests due by 10:00 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time). No telephone requests will be accepted. All requests must be faxed to (202)720-9226. Reference RFQ-OPPM-02-Q-35. Requirement will be processed using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Contractor shall provide the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of Operations, Beltsville Service Center, Pallet Racks. Disassemble and removal of some outdated storage aids and installation of today's technological superior wire guided pallet rack systems. THis system incorporates precision guided Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in the storage and picking process. The facility is already partially equipped with some of these storage aids. Installation of the floor magnetic guide to steer the MHE between the pallet rack system is required. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Anticipated award date: May 15, 2002.
