- Description
- The Forest Serice requires mechanical and temperature control maintenance and safety maintenance services for the fire prevention equipment at the Aerial Fire Depot, Missoula County, MT. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, replacement parts, tools, transportation, and incidental supplies as indicated to provide maintenance and repair services. This performance based project will be advertised as a Commercial Item written quotation, and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Request for Quote will be issued on or about May 10, 2002 and quotes will be due on or about June 10, 2002. The performance period is one year beginning October 1, 2002 and the Government has the option to renew the contract for 2 additional one-year periods. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for May 16, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. (see Request for Quote for details). All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered.
