Description
This purpose of this amendment is to respond to questions, to further define the requirement, to change the date for receipt of proposals, to allow offerors to submit their proposal electronically, to eliminate the need to submit the representations and certifications in FAR 52.212-3 and to require submission of additional information with your proposal. Question 1. In the body of the text of the solicitation, it is requested that the display, once collapsed and in its case, be able to fit into an overhead bin on an airplane. Is this critical? Most of these types of displays/back drops , with new security at Airports, will no longer be able to travel as carry on luggage and for the most part they will be too large to fit in the overhead bin. Please let me know if this portion of the requirement can be eliminated. Answer: Based on post 9/11 restrictions the requirement that the backdrop, when collapsed, fit in an overhead bin is eliminated. However, compactness will be a part of the selection criteria. Question 2. The logo on the units. Would you like this to be a removable graphic that Velcro's to the panel or would you like the graphic to be silk-screened to the fabric and be a permanent part of the display panels? Answer: The graphic should be silk-screened. Velcro is unacceptable. Question 3. Under "General Information": The Due date for the proposal is April 15 however in the body of the text, third line from the end, it states that the bids were due on April 2 @ 1:00PM. My hope is that the April 15th date is the correct date. Answer: The correct date and time is April 15 at 3:00PM Question 4. Will you accept proposals electronically? Answer: Yes. They may be sent to dennisd@ntsb.gov You are requested to submit the following information with your offer: Company name, address, telephone and fax number, Business size. Tax Payer Identification Number (TIN), DUNS number, Location, Warranty information, and place of contract performance.
