REQUEST for Price QUOTES CD Business Cards The Environmental Protection Agency Headquarters Office in Washington DC is presently interested in soliciting request for quotes (RFQ) from vendors to develop and reproduce what will be the Agency's "Business Card." This CD business card is a CB-ROM that has been cut into the shape of an ordinary business card. It fits in the inner circular grooves found in every computer CD-ROM. The CB Business card holds approximately 40 MB of information (This translates into about 4 minutes of video, hundreds to thousands of documents, 20 - 30 minutes of audio, virtually an unlimited amount of internet links, and a lot more). The purpose of the CD Business Cards will be used in all agency recruitment and outreach efforts. The CDs will contain the newly revised EPA Employment Overview Brochure in addition to hyperlinks to the agency's website, as well as to OPM's job site (Which lists all EPA vacancies). The CD will also have additional pop-up links for more detailed information on various topics. These portable business cards will provide general and more detailed information about the Agency programs, regional offices, satellite locations and laboratories, information on starting a career with the agency, other relevant information such as employee benefits and work/life programs. Upon award of the contract, the contractor shall be expected to: (1) meet with project officer to discuss the production of the EPA CD Business Card. This session should detail what steps/processes are necessary for the development of the CD Cards. The agency will provide approximately 90% of data from the agency's Employment Overview Booklet. The additional information will be provided from word perfect documents and the Agency's web site. (2) Review data provided and provide suggestions for ease in use regarding possible lay-out, design formatting issues/design on the CD. (3) Preparing draft copy of CD for review, allowing at least two weeks for in-house consultations before making any revisions in layout and content. (4) Meet with project officer to discuss changes required, and provide mutually agreeable time-frame for providing draft revision. (5) After approval of final draft, contractor should immediately begin reproduction of CD Business Cards. (6) After completion of reproduction, contractor will deliver original CD to agency for sole ownership with all rights contained therein. If you have any questions or need clarification, please forward your questions to stevenson.irvin@epa.gov.
