- Description
- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, with Forensic Technology, Inc. for the purchase of additional integrated ballistic identification systems with associated maintenance and service. This is a follow-on contract to Tatf-98-12, currently in effect. Forensic technology is the only known manufacturer of this equipment and equipment that must be 100% compatible with existing equipment. Forensic Technology is the only company that can provide maintenance, upgrades, and service to their proprietary products.
