Description
This sources sought announcement is issued for the purpose of identifying sources for palletized Quad-Band Dual Hub (QDHT) satellite terminals. Each satellite terminal shall be capable of supporting a dual hub configuration of up to six spokes per hub (twelve spokes total). The will be mounted on a heavy variant High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), Model M1097A1, GFE, and will include an integral quad-band (C, X, Ku and Ka) pop-up antenna and an external 2.4 meter AN/USC-60A antenna. The unit will be required to interface with a Lightweight High Gain X-Band Antenna (LHGXA) that will also be GFE. The electronics for all three antennas shall be incorporated within the pallet. The pallet shall be designed for mounting upon any heavy variant HMMWV. The QDHT must be compatible with existing AN/USC-60A terminals in order to reduce logistics and training requirements. The government requests information regarding specifications and pricing for commercial off the shelf (COTS) equipment. This announcement is only an expression of interest. Future requirements and procurements are uncertain. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this announcement.
