- Description
- The US Geological Survey (USGS) anticipates entering into non-competitive negotiations with the California State University Sacramento Foundation (CSUSF) for 35,606 +- square feet of office and related support space. The subject space will be in support of a cooperative project between USGS and CSUS and is located on the campus adjacent to the USGS WRD District Office. On-site presence by the USGS is required so that USGS can take advantage of this unique opportunity to collocate 5 different USGS offices on campus and establish and operate shared operational support facilities to the mutual benefit of all parties. USGS and CSUS will collaborate in applications based business research and administrative support operations. CSUS also offers shared resources, such as establishment, operation, and support of shared space in buildings, shared campus support spaces and instructional spaces. The lease term will be ten years. Suppliers who believe they can provide the required space with the same university privileges are invited to submit an affirmative response by 5/25/02 in accordance with note 22. All such responses will be evaluated in order to determine whether that supplier has full knowledge and capabilities to meet requirements of the USGS. An affirmative response should be provided to the point of contact listed in this announcement by May 25, 2002. This notice is for information purposes only. Request for Proposal (RFP) is not available. This notice may represent the Government's only official notice of this procurement.
