- Description
- General Statement of Work: The Bureau of Land Management is engaged in on-going activities under the Federal Wildland Fire Initiative of 2000 which directs that increased and expanded efforts be undertaken to plan, coordinate and identify fuel management, fire education/prevention projects and activities. This new wildland fire initiative specifically focuses on: 1) working closely with communities-at-risk in implementing fuel reduction activities; and 2) expanding fire education and outreach efforts regarding fire prevention and mitigation in the wildland-urban interface. BLM has adopted RAMS as it's primary planning tool for identifying, planning, analyzing, and quantifying a full range of fuel management and fire prevention/education activities performed at the field office level.
