- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are bein g requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Brand Name or Equal in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR clause 52. 211-6. The solicit ation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2001-06(20 March 02) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), 1998 edition, and current to DCN 20020314(Apr 2002). T he preferred method of payment is by Government Visa Credit Card. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 334519 with a size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is for an automotive sensor upgrade to support automotive testing consisting of the following Contract Line Items, (CLIN) 0001 one each Tekscan four (4) handle tire pressure system including 20 standard 3150 mats, CLIN 0002 one each Tekscan Equilibrator part number 100B, CLIN 0003 one each Package A with Contact Area software for Windows 98, CLIN 0004 one each PCI Expansion unit, CLIN 0005 15 each 65 psi. 3150 mats with plus and minus 6.5% accuracy and CLIN 0006 for one year of Technical Support/Software Maintenance after expir ation of standard commercial warranty period. The manufacturer is Tekscan incorporated, 307 west First Street, South Boston, MA 02127-1342, phone number (617) 464-4500 ext 268. All quotes shall be clearly marked with this solicitation number DATM07-02-T-0004 and emailed to Pamela.nevels@yuma.army.mil or by facsimile to (520) 328-6849 no later than 5:00 PM MST on April 23, 2002. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the solicitation and will be the most advantageous to the Government based on acceptability and price. The following FAR and DFAR representa tions and certifications apply to this acquisition and must be filled out in accordance with FAR provision 52. 212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items (Oct 2000), FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (Apr 2002) and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offerors Representation and Certifications Commercial Items (Sep 1999). Offerors that fail to furnish required representations of information as required by FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-3, and DFARS 252.212-7000 cited above, or rejects the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration.
