- NA The U.S. Army Signal Command has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for Fort Hamilton, New York. The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The local exchange services provider, certifie d by the state of New York, shall provide local commercial communications service for Fort Hamilton, New York which shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial subscriber lines, analog access trunks, local exchange digital ( ISDN PRI) trunks, and directory number and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, whether they are a large, small, disadvantaged and /or w omen-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC code 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees ? NAICS 51331 and 51333. This requirement shall be a commercial, fixed price type contract. Solicitation is anticipat ed to be released on or about 10 Apr 02. The Government will conduct a preproposal conference a nd site visit on 17 Apr 02 at 301 General Lee Ave, Fort Hamilton, New York. The conference will be from 9:00-10:30 (approximately) and will be followed by a site visit from 10:30 ? 12:00 noon. Offerors planning to attend are required to notify the specia list listed below, in writing, of all attendees? names (not to exceed three per company) prior to 12 Apr 02. An e-mail response to the specialist listed below is acceptable. Questions received prior to the conference must be received before 12 Apr 02. Q uestions generated as a result of the preproposal conference must be received before 30 Apr 02. Written responses to offeror-generated questions will be provided to all Offerors.
