Description
TRAFFIC PAINT AND REFLECTIVE BEADS. 1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. 2) Solicitation F65501-02-TA013 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). 3) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-5. 4) This solicitation is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 325510; Size standard: 500 employees. 5) ITEM DESCRIPTIONS: L/I 0001- White Traffic Paint. TNT/Pathway, solvent base, fast- 20 second dry, self-dissolving for minimum maintenance, Morton International part number HAIW1 or equal. Comes in 345 gallon bulk container with 2 inch camlock fittings. Quantity: 4 each. L/I 0002- Yellow Traffic Paint. TNT/Pathway, solvent base, fast- 20 second dry, self-dissolving for minimum maintenance, Morton International part number HAIY2 or equal. Comes in 345 gallon bulk container with 2 inch camlock fittings. Quantity: 5 each. L/I 0003- Black Traffic Paint. TMT/Pathway, solvent base, fast- 20 second dry, self-dissolving for minimum maintenance, Morton International part number HNLB or equal. Customer Owned Tote, contractor responsible to pick-up the container, refill it with black paint, and deliver it back to customer. Quantity: 1 each. L/I 0004- Reflective Traffic Beads. Highway beads (Alaska Spec), low refraction type. Quantity: 192 BG. 6) DELIVERY: FOB DESTINATION to Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. Delivery must be accomplished NLT 10 May 2002. 7) FAR 52.212-1 ? Instructions to Offerors?Commercial, applies to this acquisition. 8) FAR 52.212-2 ? Evaluation ? Commercial Items. Award will be made based on the low price/technically acceptable offer. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote received without discussions. 9) Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items with Alternate 1 with the offer.
