- PR NR: FD2020-02-62344. The purpose of this PR is to place a repair order for essential repair of the KC-135 Drag Strut in accordance with Statement of Work and to satisfy high priority requirements in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Noble Eagle so the mission of the war fighter can be accomplished. Item 0001 NSN: 1620-00-652-5472, Noun: MLG Strut. Del sched: 35 days after receipt of repairable assets. Early delivery accepted. The anticipated award date will be 10 MAY 2002. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: Northwest Machining, Meridian Id 83642-5917. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
