- Description
- Buck Creek Road Decommissioning. Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, supervision, materials and any incidentals necessary to accomplish decommissioning Forest Roads 14N39A, 14N39C and 14N39G. Decommissioning work consists of excavating culverts and associated fills, stockpiling riprap encountered while excavating fills, reshaping stream channels to its natural configuration, installing water bars and drainage dips, placing riprap in finished channel bottoms, spreading weed free straw on disturbed ground where designated and the disposal of culverts. This project is located on the Smith River National Recreation Area, Six Rivers National Forest. Access to the project site area may not be until June 2002, due to snow and POC seasonal closures. A copy of this solicitation should be available to download from the FEDBIZOPPS website in early to mid June 2002. Engineer?s Estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. A Payment Bond will be required.
