- Description
- The government intends to use Alpha contract procedures (sole source) to place national stock numbered items manufactured solely by SPD Technologies (CAGE 30086) on a long term indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery contract to Jo-Kell, Inc (CAGE 5V049). SPD Technologies has identified Jo-Kell, Inc. as the sole value added distributor for government sales to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The government therefore intends to place the contract with Jo-Kell as the single authorized distributor to DLA. A firm-fixed price contract is proposed for the base year. Option year pricing will be negotiated prior to each option period for a firm-fixed price for each option period. The government intends to procure these items by part number. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement will contain an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years.
