- 8010-01-439-7910 UI: DR QUANTITY REQUESTED: 60/DR TOTAL ORDERS: 1 COATING COMPOUND: DESCRIPTION An 85/15 by weight zinc/aluminum alloyed wire for thermally spraying onto steel. 1/8 inch diameter wire, bright Finish Packaging: A sealed drum containing 20.4 kilograms (450 pounds) of coating wire, with dessicant. Shelf Life: Should not be purchased 6 months prior to projected use; must be consumed by 6 months from date of manufacture. ITEM MARKING Marking shall be in accordance with standard commercial practice. PACKAGING Shall be in accordance with ASTM D 3951-95. PACKING Shall be packaged in accordance with the supplier's normal commercial practice, provided that there will be no interaction chemically or physically with the contents so as to damage the containers or alter the strength, quality, or purity of the contents. The containers shall be closed in a manner that will insure that the contents will not spill or leak from the containers during shipment, handling, storage and redistribution. MARKING All unit, intermediate, transport packages and unit loads shall be marked for delivery to civilian activities in accordance with the FED-STD-123G, dated June 6, 1997, or marked for delivery to military activities in accordance with MIL-STD-129N, dated 15, May, 1997, as applicable.
