Description

NA This notice is modification 6 to pre-solicitation notice posted October 22, 2001 (Posted dates of modifications 1 (11/15/01); 2 (11/21/01); 3 (2/13/02); 4 (3/1/02); and 5 (4/2/02)). The purpose of modification 6 is to advise interested offerors that Deleg ation of Authority No. AE 2-01, Delegation of Authority in Section 845 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1994, Public Law 103-160, as amended (10 United States Code, Section 2371) has been received by the Natick Contracting Division . Natick Contracting Division has been re-delegated the authority to enter into transactions under 10 U.S.C. 2371, for prototype projects that are directly relevant to weapons or weapon systems proposed to be acquired or developed by the Department of Def ense through 30 September 2004. Amendment 0002 to solicitation DAAD16-02-R-0004 has been posted to https://www3.natick.army.mil under ongoing Business Opportunities to reflect this change. A conformed version of the solicitation is also posted containing all changes to the final solicitation through Amendment 0002.
