- *****This RFQ is modified to change the proposal due date to 23 April, 2002. Proposals are due no later than 4:30 P.M. Eastern Standard Time***** The following are questions and answers that were needed for clarification. 1. What is the GVW of Trailer? What is the desired load Capacity? Answer: 3500Lbs 2. How much is the tandem Axle load capacity? Answer: 3500Lbs 3. What is the overall height of the trailers? Answer: What ever height that is necessary to make the interior overall height 6?. 4. How much ground clearance does the trailers need? Answer: Standard trailer height (approx 12 to 18 inches) 5. Do they need to be air transportable? Answer: No 6. What kind of brakes do they need? Hydraulic, Serge, or electric? Answer: The type used for this size trailer. 7. What is the interior height & wall size & ceiling surfaces. Answer: Six Feet 8. What are the side and rear door sizes (ramp doors or barn doors?) Answer: Barn doors 9. Do they have windows and screens? Answer: No windows and screens, only vents. 10. Is there any need for air conditioning and heating? Answer: No 11. Are there any 120 VAC lights, switches and receptacles? Answer: Only need one electrical four plug outlet that is supported by the generator that will be provided by the government and mounted on the front tongue. The outlet needs to be mounted on the interior wall adjacent to the rear doors. 12. Are there going to be any exterior work lights and/ or receptacles? Answer: No, there will be no exterior work lights or receptacles. 13. Is there any wall and ceiling insulation? Answer: No 14. Is there any flooring and treatment? Answer: No 15. Are there any work tables and chairs? Answer: No 16. Does it need roofing for a standing man/ observation deck? Answer: No 17. Is there any need to store special equipment? ATV or Tractor etc. Answer: No 18. Does it need to be equipped to be driven on Typical Terrain, Highway or Off-Road? Answer: Typical Terrain 19. Are there going to be stablizing and tongue jacks? Answer: Crank handle to raise and lower hitch yes, but no on the stabilizing. 20. Is it a cargo trailer, or a mobile office?
