- General Notice: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F13MAA207203 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document, incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-06. This acquisition is 100 percent set aside for small business; NAIC:325613; Size Std: 500. Quotes are to be received by this office NLT 1400 CST on 12 April 02. Quotes can be faxed, or e-mailed to the points of contacts listed on this notice. Contract Line Items (CLINs): Aircraft Cleaning Compound, B & B Tritech Part #6805P RE-GEL) environmentally safe product of which is rapidly biodegradable, user friendly, and produces satisfactory oil/water separation and cleaning efficiency when used at 100 percent or a diluted mixture that consist of 1 part Re-Gel to 3 parts water. Ingrediants are not to include ethylene glycol, which has been proven by the users here at Little Rock AFB to cause skin irritations if subjected to the users skin. Gel must meet or exceed the test requirements of MIL-C-87937B, Type III gel-type cleaning compound for Hydrogen Embrittlement, Total Immersion Corrosion, Low Enbrittling Cadmium Plate Corrosion, Effects on Unpainted Metal Surfaces, Sandwich Corrosion, Effects on Painted Surfaces, Stress Crazing of Acrylic Plastics, Stress Crazing of Polycarbonate Plastic, Hot Dip Galvanizing Corrosion, Effect on Polysulfide Sealants, Rubber Compatibiltiy, and Effect on Polyimide Insulated Wire.
