- The VA National Acquisition Center will issue Solicitation RFP-797-NC-02-0027, for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs and the Dept. of Defense's requirements of the following items: Prednisone 5 mg., 100s - Est. Annual Usage: 3,298 BT Prednisone 5 mg., 500s - Est. Annual Usage: 50,076 BT Or Prednisone 5 mg., 1,000s - Est. Annual Usage: 25,038 BT Prednisone 10 mg., 100s - Est. Annual Usage: 6,306 BT Prednisone 10 mg., 500s - Est. Annual Usage: 14,052 BT Or Prednisone 10 mg., 1,000s - Est. Annual Usage: 7,026 BT Prednisone 20 mg., 100s - Est. Annual Usage: 8,402 BT Prednisone 20 mg., 500s - Est. Annual Usage: 12,238 BT Or Prednisone 20 mg., 1,000s - Est. Annual Usage: 6,119 BT Salsalate 500 mg., 100s ? Est. Annual Usage: 6,241 BT Salsalate 500 mg., 500s ? Est. Annual Usage: 29,988 BT Or Salsalate 500 mg., 1000s ? Est. Annual Usage: 14,994 BT Salsalate 750 mg., 100s ? Est. Annual Usage: 8,243 BT Salsalate 750 mg., 500s ? Est. Annual Usage: 45,132 BT Or Salsalate 750 mg., 1000s ? Est. Annual Usage: 22,566 BT Indian Health Service and Bureau of Prisons may submit additional requirements, but the Solicitation will clearly state whether these two agencies are included, and if so, what their additional annual usage is expected to be. The contract period will be for a period of one year, plus four one-year options. Distribution will be through the VA Prime Vendor and DoD's Prime Vendors. The Solicitation will be available for downloading on or about 4/25/02, at the VA office of Acquisition and Materiel Management's internet webb site at http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. Offers will be due 5/24/02.
