Description

The U.S. Coast Guard will issue a solicitation for the following service utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures: Item 01 - Provide all materials, equipment, and labor to fabricate, install, maintain on station, and remove a system of navigational aids buoys on the Kuskokwim River for the 2002 season. Item 02 - Provide price of fabrication, installation and removal of 5 additional buoys, which may be ordered at the option of the Contracting Officer. Performance shall be in accordance with the standards contained in the Statement of Work and applicable purchase order clauses contained in the solicitation. This solicitation will be Small Business set-aside. The NAICS Code is 332313. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The contract type will be Firm Fixed Price. The solicitation will be posted to this web-site for downloading on or about 16 April 2002 and shall close on or about 29 April 2002. The following notice is for informational purposes: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
