- Description
- The Department of Health and Human Services, Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS), plans to award a 15-month sole source simplified acquisition to the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill. The contractor shall provide training, technical assistance, and educational materials concerning Medicaid mental health services to the membership of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI). The NAMI is uniquely qualified based on their comprehensive and experienced network of grassroots members who are actively involved in issues affecting their system of care. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. No solicitation will be issued. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
