- The synopsis published April 4, 2002, solicitation number DE-RQ65-02WA20782, titled MAXIMO Software Maintenance and Support Services, is deleted in its entirety and replaced by the following. The sole source to MRO Software is dissolved. Even though the sole source is dissolved, MRO Software is the only firm known to have proprietary rights to the MAXIMO software. The requirement is for furnishing of services, not for procurement of software. A solicitation for above referenced services will be released 12 April 2002. Vendors who have the capability to provide the software maintenance and support services for Western Area Power Administration?s MAXIMO maintenance system are invited to furnish a quotation by 19 April, 2002, no later than 6:00 PM, Mountain Time Zone. The services required by Western include remedial software corrections, product upgrades and enhancements, remote diagnostic support, unlimited toll-free telephone support and a free subscription to MRO?s 24-hour on-line electronic bulletin board. A fixed-price purchase order is contemplated with a period of performance from 1 May 2002 through 30 April 2003. Copies of the solicitation will be made available by downloading from the Internet from the ?Industry Interactive Procurement System? (IIPS) home page located at address: http://www.pr.doe.gov. For assistance with the IIPS registration process, contact the help desk at 800-683-0751. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis. A written solicitation will be issued and e-mail requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Telephone requests will not.
