- Description
- The Defense Distribution Center San Diego,located in Building 3304, San Diego, CA has a requirement to upgrade/refurbish the existing (33) P&H HandiPik Man-Ride Storage and Retrieval Machines (S/RM), Upgrade and reconfigure (10) P&H Shuttle Table Unit Load Man-Ride S/RMs to operate in a fully automatic mode, and to also provide an Automatic Guided Vehicle System and associated controls. Estimated performance time from receipt of award through final acceptance of the system is approximately 270 days. This acquisition is unrestricted in competition. This acquisition will awarded based on "Best Value" criteria. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333922 and the size standard is 500 employees. A written solicitation will be issued and processed for award. A pre-bid conference/site visit will be scheduled to occur approximately midway through the 30 days solicitation period. All responsible contractors may request a copy of the solicitation.
