- Description
- This procurement requires the contractor to (1) provide Array Maintenance support, (2) provide Deep Ocean Transponder (DOT) Program support of Recoverable Deep Ocean Transponder (RDOT) and Position Velocity Deep Ocean Transponder (PVDOT) systems, and (3) provide engineering support for evaluation of acoustic issues related to the TRIDENT Flight Test Program. The period of performance is 1 October 2002 through 30 September 2003, with four one year option periods to follow. This effort will be negotiated with Sonatech, Inc. of Santa Barbara, CA, the only known contractor with the technical background and expertise, trained personnel, and the in-house logistics, test, and repair capabilities which are required to perform this effort.
