- Description
- A Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued for Dual Visor Assembly, Cobra. Any interested offeror may produce the Visor Tracks, Mounting Screws, Cover Material, Etc., however, the Visors included with the assembly must be from an approved source (Gentex Corporation, , P.O. Box 315, Carbondale, PA 18407, Ph: 570-282-8516 or Aotec, LLC, 25 Case Street, P.O. Box 8007, South Bridge, MA 01550, Ph: 508-765-2171) in accordance with FNS/PD 96-18, dated 01 November 1996 and 1680-ALSE-201, dated 1/26/93. Source approval may be obtained by contacting Le Huyen, Brooks Air Force Base at 210-536-5127. One (1) delivery is required with best delivery date to be furnished by the prospective contractor. All materials are to be contractor furnished. See numbered notes 13 and 26. This RFQ will be issued on an Unrestricted basis. The destinations for the subject item are Defense Depot Tracy, CA and Defense Depot New Cumberland, PA. Low Price/Technically Acceptable Source Selection Procedures will be used with the utilized in making an award. RFQ date closing of May 20, 2002 is estimated. The quantity to be procured is 63 Each. NSN(s) is as follows: 8415-01-395-2194(s). First Article Testing is required. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.mil/home after April 25, 2002. From the Gateway home page, select ?Search RFQs? from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFQ you wish to view. Amendments to this solicitation WILL NOT be available via the Gateway. In order to receive notification of amendments to this solicitation you must E-MAIL the Contract Specialist, listed below under Point of Contact, with the name and address of prospective offeror, phone and fax number and a point of contact. Please reference solicitation number in all e-mail correspondence. An unsuccessful offer may result if prospective offeror FAILS to e-mail the Contract Specialist of their intent to offer on this solicitation. In addition, you can enter DSCP C&T FSCs and NSNs to receive notification of RFQs. The Gateway will send all registered users an e-mail notification of RFQ solicitations based on your FSC and NSN profile. The NSN notification will contain a link that can connect users directly to a digital copy of the solicitation on the Internet.
