- Description
- The U.S. Special Operations Command intends to award a follow-on contract with Raytheon Systems Company, 2501 West University, McKinney, TX for all depot level maintenance, field support services, engineering support services and spare parts necessary to sustain the ANAPQ-174B Multi-Mode Radar (MMR) System installed on the MH-47E and MH-60K Special Operations Aircraft. Services shall be performed at Ft. Campbell, KY; however the manufacturer's facilities and aircraft deployment locations may be dictated by circumstances. The period of performance shall be 1 July 2002 - 31 Dec 2002. The contract shall contain four (4), one-year options, as well as an option to add two field service engineers. Including all options, the contract shall not exceed a total of five (5) years. A solicitation is expected to be issued within the next three weeks with an anticipated award date of 1 Jul 02. The solicitation number is USZA95-02-R-0025. The solicitation document and pertinent clause information will be posted to the Interagency Business Opportunities Page (IBOP)at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. Registration is required for proposal submission in IBOP. Raytheon Systems Company is the designer, developer, and manufacturer of the MMR. Raytheon Systems Company retains the patents and all proprietary data rights to the MMR. All responsible sources may submit a proposal and will receive due consideration by law; however, no competition is anticipated. Note 22 applies.
