Description
The U.S. Army at TACOM-ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal has a requirement for engineering services and technical consultation to support program management in the areas of small arms ammunition, fuzing, weapon and system design. Multiple awards are possible. The contractor will provide assistance to support to manage, develop, evaluate, produce, field and logistically support entire systems and sub-systems. Support duties will include, but not be limited to: requirements management; engineering & integration processes; integration of schedules of all subsystems; cost, contract and funding estimates; subsystem interfaces; human engineering; and total package fielding planning. In addition, the contractor will support all aspects of armament acquisitions programs to include, but not limited to, identification and evaluation of doctrinal issues, evaluation of the design and development of training items; evaluation of technical & operational testing needs; review of modeling & simulations plans. The contractor will also provide assistance and guidance in developing documentation for Milestone decision reviews, and evaluate manufacturing plans for low rate & full rate production items.
