- Description
- A Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued for Housing Visor, Cobra Helos, in accordance with FNS/PD 96-18, dated 01 November 1996 and 1680-ALSE-287, dated 8/10/01. Two (2) deliveries are required 150 and 180 days after date of award or best delivery date to be furnished by the prospective contractor. All materials are to be contractor furnished. See numbered notes 13 and 26. This RFQ will be issued on an Unrestricted basis. The destinations for the subject item are Defense Depot Tracy, CA and Defense Depot New Cumberland, PA. First Article Testing is required. RFQ date closing of May 17, 2002 is estimated. The quantity to be procured is 124 Each. NSN(s) is as follows: 8415-01-394-8027(s). Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(a)(7) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.mil/home after April 23, 2002. From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFQs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFQ you wish to view. Amendments of this solicitation WILL NOT be available via the Gateway. In order to receive notification of amendments to this solicitation you must E-MAIL the Contract Specialist, listed below under Point of Contact, with the name and address of prospective offeror, phone and fax number and a point of contact. Please reference solicitation number in all e-mail correspondence. An unsuccessful offer may result if prospective offeror FAILS to e-mail the C&T FSCs and NSNs to receive notification of the RFQs. The Gateway will send all registered users an e-mail notification of RFQ solicitations based on your FSC and NSN profile. The FSC and NSN notifications will also contain a link that can connect users directly to a digital copy of the solicitation on the Internet.
