Description
AMENDMENT POSTED TO MODIFY RESPONSE DATE AND FAX NUMBER FOR SUBMITTALS REQUIREMENTS: General Services Administration is interested in leasing approximately 17,308 square feet of rentable space in Houston, Texas. The space will consist of 10,408 square feet of office space, 5,750 square feet of Warehouse space and 1,150 secured outside storage (Wareyard). Rentable space must yield 15,734 to 15,050 BOMA usable square feet of space. United States Geological Survey/Water Resources Division will occupy the space. LEASE TERM: 10 years, 5 years firm. UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS: Space must be contiguous and all on ground level equal to street level. Agency requires a 75 feet turning radius to accommodate delivery trucks. Interior column spacing must be no less than 25 feet on center. Office area ceiling to be 8-9 feet; a minimum 12 feet high in warehouse; and minimum 9 feet high in laboratory. The agency must have 24 hour, 7 days a week access into the building. Warehouse must have two 10 foot X 12 foot overhead doors, sprinklers, and be located adjacent to office and fenced wareyard. The warehouse must have a separate ventilation system from the office and lab. Secured parking for 20 one-ton vehicles is required, 5 of the spaces must be covered plus additional parking for 36 private vehicles with adequate lighting. LOCATION: Houston, TX South: US 610 N, West: Highway 249, North: FM1488, East: US 45. SUBMITTAL: Must include building name and address. Rentable square feet and rate per rentable square foot. Method of measurement used and common area factor. Submit name, address, and telephone number of individual to contact and evidence of authority to represent the owner. AUTHORIZED CONTACTS: In no event shall the offeror enter into negotiations concerning the space to be leased with representatives of Federal Agencies other than the officers and employees of General Services Administration.
