- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA 93042 intends to procure via an 8(a) Competitive Acquisition, Engineering Technical Services for the Airborne Weapons Systems to provide fleet and logistics support services for airborne weapon/target systems. The Government contemplates a cost plus fixed fee contract with a one-year base period of performance and four one-year option periods. The period of performance will commence approximately 01 October 2002 through 30 September 2003; Option Year 1 from 01 October 2003 to September 30, 2004; Option Year 2 from 01 October 2004 through 30 September 2005; Option Year 3 from 01 October 2005 through 30 September 2006; and Option Year 4 from 01 October 2006 through 30 September 2007. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, cost or price and other factors specified elsewhere in the solicitation, considered. This solicitation is being classified under NAICS Code 541330 (SIC 8711) ($23 MIL). Phone and fax requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. The solicitation will be made available on or about 18 April 02, and will be available through the 2.0 Contracts Competency home page at: https://contracts.nawcwd.navy.mil/rfp-nawc.htm. It is the offeror's responsibility to check this website for any amendments that may be issued to the solicitation and acknowledge them as a part of any proposal submission.
