- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to initiate a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Everest VIT, 199 Highway 206, Flanders, NJ 07836-4500. The purpose of the proposed BOA and all subsequent orders placed under it is to procure Support Equipment (SE) to support the F414-GE-400 Turbofan Engine. The proposed acquisition is for SE and technical data for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings. Part Number (P/N) PXLM620A, Video Measuring System, quantity of nine(9)/ PXA101, Lamp Assembly, quantity of nine (9)/ P/N XA117S, Battery Pack, quantity of twenty-one (21)/ P/N XL620, Video Probe, quantity of seven (7) / PXA101, Lamp Assembly, quantity of seven (7) / P/N US1040, Guide Set, quantity of seven (7)/ P/N XT690FF, Fwd View Tip, quantity of (7)/ P/N XT650SF, Side View Tip, quantity of fifty (50)/ P/N XT6100SG, Side View Tip, quantity of seven (7), P/N R6-54-90-56, Rigid Borescope, P/N 6650-01-462-9390, Swing Prism Borescope, Electronic Turning Tool Kit with associated P/N 189TT, FLS 200 or 300 series light source, XLPRO Video Probe, 5mm diameter. Included in this proposed BOA will also be any revisions, replacements, or any newly developed items associated with the parts and part numbers of the support equipment mentioned above. Everest VIT is the sole designer and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Video Measuring System and the related components. NAWCADLKE intends to procure the Video Measuring System and its related components under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See note 22.
