- Amendment to solicitation ACD-2-Q-0005. Current statement reads: "The requirement includes on call service with a 4-hour response time during normal business hours excluding federal holidays and weekends." The statement shall be expanded to state normal business hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Federal holidays include New Year's Day, Martin Luther King's Birthday (celebrated on observed Monday), President's Day, Memorial Day (celebrated on observed Monday), Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day (celebrated on observed Monday), Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Current statement includes drums as small parts to be provided by the vendor. The statement is changed to have drums as expendables provided by the government. Current statement reads: "Major Repair Labor (inclusive parts) addresses labor pricing for major fax machine repairs (inclusive parts & labor exceeding $150.00 (Combined labor & parts). Statement shall be changed to read: "Major repairs are those instances where the repairs price (parts and labor) exceed a threshold of $150.00 per instance." All fax machines are located in Dallas, Texas except the one machine in Carrolton, Texas. A statement is also included regarding the list of machines as Attachment 1. The list is subject to change based on transfer of the machines within the INS facilities, disposing of obsolete machines and acquisition of new machines. The contractor will be notified at the time of service call if an existing machine has been relocated. When as machine is taken out of INS inventory the vendor will be notified and payments will be reduced to account for the declination of the requirement. A new machine, once the manufacturer's warranty has lapsed, will be added to the contract. New machines with the same make and model already on the contract will be priced the same as those machines already on contract. New machines with no like make and model on the contract will require price negotiations between the Government and the vendor to reach a fair and reasonable price. The quotes were due April 10, 2002, 2:00pm Dallas, TX is also changed to be 2:00 PM Dallas, TX April 15, 2002.
