- Description
- The intent of this contract is to provide soil injection fuimigation of approximately 5.0 total acres of nursery fields located in 3 blocks. Fumigant shall be applied by injection method using a Nobel Plow. The Government will supply the chemicals, tarping, glue and inert gas to be used as a propellant. The contractor will supply the fumigant injection, gluing and tarp-laying equipment. Contractor to pickup and dispose of fumigation tarp in accordance with State of Nebraska Methyl Bromide Soil Fumigation Permit Conditions. Contract time and estimated start date: April 25, 2002 (2.5 acres) and July 23, 2002(2.5 acres). The period of performance is 5 days for both dates. Project is located on the Nebraska National Forest, Bessey Nursery, PO Box 39, Halsey, NE 69142 See Note 1.
