- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard is conducting market research to determine the existence and interest of sources for a currently-developed 85 foot fast patrol craft with multi-operational capabilities that is manufactured in the United States and has a top speed of 40 knots or better. This notice is a Sources Sought Synopsis for information purpose only and to identify potential domestic sources for the vessel. Prospective firms are encouraged to submit a capability summary that does not exceed five (5) pages in length describing their patrol boat and the firm?s relevant business experience and their approach in meeting the requirements stated above. Responses should include: (a) The name and address of the contractor and where the boat would be built; (b) Point of contact including name, title, phone and email addresses; (c) The size of the contractor, average annual revenue for the past three years and the number of employees; (d) A description of boat(s) currently offered by the contractor that currently meets, or with minor modifications might meet, the above listed requirements; and (e) Whether the business is currently classified as a Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a) and/or Woman Owned company, Hub Zone small business, veteran owned small business, or service disabled veteran owned small business. When to Submit: Submissions must be received not later than 12:00 PM Eastern Time on 12 February 2002.
